The property is just south of the Route 148/Route 81 intersection. The entrance, currently marked with the Killingworth Community Gardens sign, is located just north of the entrance to the Haddam-Killingworth Middle School.
The entrance is gated, but will be open for events. The combination can be obtained for legitimate purposes by contacting a member of the Parmelee Steering Committee or Municipal Land Use Committee.
There is parking onsite with overflow parking available at the middle school during non-school hours. The closest parking lot is located at the entrance to the school. A marked path to the property is located just east of the northern most softball field.
